In this tutorial you will learn to make a simple and fun command for viewers in your chat to “hug” one another. Of course this can be modified to be pretty much anything else you want as well.

In StreamerBot, go to the Actions section

Right click in the main Actions window and select Add

Give it the name of Hug and click Ok

Right-click in the Triggers window and navigate to: Add > Core > Commands > Command Triggered

Click Create Command

In the next window we’re going to give it a name and what we want the command to be. Fill out the blue boxes and click Ok.

You should now see this, simply click Ok and we’re on to the last step.

Right-click in the Sub-Actions window and navigate to the following:

The message below is what we want to appear in chat. The user variable is whoever used the command, and the targetUser variable is who they are sending a hug to. The message can be anything you want.

So, the usage of the command in your chat for viewers will be:

!hug usernamehere

This command can be customized to basically anything you would like it to be besides a hug command, just keep in mind the variables used and you’ll be good!
